Incantation: Descendo. Light: Blue. Taught in: 5th Year Charms (1988-89).
Effect: Causes the target to fall or move downwards.
Other information: Objects at rest may be toppled by this spell.
Source(s): Canon, with some elaboration from Witchcraft & Wizardry.
See Descending Charm.
See Stealth Sensoring Charm.
Incantation: Unknown.
Effect: Vanishes miniscule pieces of the target, causing a small amount of damage.
Other information: On living targets, this psell is most often used to inflict microtrauma on the muscles, impairing the target in the short term without causing long-term damage. Used properly, the effect is much like a near-sudden onset of severe fatigue.
Source(s): Canon, with a lot of elaboration (we know the effect in basic terms, but nothing else). Because it’s taught by Professor McGonagall (in the Wizards Unite game), I’m portraying it as a kind of Transfiguration.
See Severing Charm.
See Finger-removing Hex.
Incantation: Expelliarmus, from Latin expellere "to drive out" and arma "weapon." Light: Scarlet.
Effect: The target object flies out of the person's hand, as if knocked away.

Source(s): Witchcraft & Wizardry.
Incantation: Homogenus. Light: White.
Effect: The target takes on the color and texture of its surrounds, blending into the background.
Other information: The sensation of being Disillusioned is like feeling a raw egg dripping down one’s body from the head. This is one of the methods of producing an Invisibility Cloak, but it is possible for a keen or attentive eye to pick out the target as they move.
Source(s): Canon, with an incantation from Witchcraft & Wizardry and some elaboration from Hogwarts is Here.
Incantation: Unknown. Light: Red.
Effect: The target bursts into small pieces and disintegrates.

A.K.A. Anti-Choking Charm (Manual Variation)
Incantation: Unknown.
Effect: Prevents asphyxiation by widening and otherwise manipulating the throat.
Other information: Useful for treating tracheomalacia and other conditions where the problem is not an obstruction but rather a collapsed airway. With exacting precision, it may be possible to
and can also be useful where magic is the cause, though this requires greater skill, a more exacting technique, and possibly knowledge of the spell in question.
Source(s): Witchcraft & Wizardry, with significant modification and elaboration, and an alternate name from Hogwarts is Here.
Incantation: Open Sesame.
Effect: Opens the target door, forcefully.
Variability: The door may be busted open, knocked off its hinges, or reduced to splinters.
Source(s): Witchcraft & Wizardry.
Incantation: Aberto. Light: Blue.
Effect: Opens the target door.
Other information: More powerful than the standard Unlocking Charm.
Source(s): Canon.
Incantation: Geminio. Light: None.
Effect: Duplicates the target object, creating an exact replica thereof.
Variability: It is possible to cast the Doubling Charm in such a way that, upon casting or some other trigger, the target object will be duplicated many, many times. When used as a trap, this is referred to as the Gemino Curse.
Other information: While initially indistinguishable, the duplicate will rot or tarnish more quickly than the original.
Source(s): Canon.
Incantation: Deprimo. Light: Green. Taught in: 5th Year DADA (1988-89).

Other information: A large amount of rubble may result.
Source(s): Canon.
Incantation: Karellen.
Effect: Produces an undesirably loud noise.
Source(s): Canon, but the incantation is original.
Incantation: Aridus. Taught in: 6th Year Charms (1989-90).
Effect: Evaporates water.
Other information: It is beyond the abilities of most wixes to evaporate more than a pond in this way (at least in a timely fashion — "to Drought the ocean" is to work on a task that is technically possible but practically infeasible).
Source(s): Canon, with an incantation from Witchcraft & Wizardry, and some elaboration.
